In 2008, Radley Griffin, M.D., founded Griffin Concierge Medical on the idea that medical care could be better. His father, a trusted pharmacist, instilled in him the notion of slow medicine — where relationships matter, and knowledge is power.

Today we are eleven physicians across Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Lakewood Ranch, each carrying that same conviction — that care is better when it is built on a relationship, sustained by infrastructure, and measured in years, not minutes.

I love the relationships I have with my patients and taking care of them like they are family. The patient-physician relationship is foundational to our practice of concierge medicine and remains my focus as the field continues to evolve.

Dr. Griffin founded Griffin Concierge Medical in 2008 with a clear conviction: that the best of traditional family medicine — deep relationships, continuity, trust — could be matched with the rigor, infrastructure, and continuously evolving expertise modern healthcare demands. He grew up the son of a small-town pharmacist who taught him that slow medicine, built on relationships, was the medicine that worked. Today, Dr. Griffin leads a team of eleven physicians and a patient care coordination model that has come to define how concierge medicine is practiced in Tampa Bay.
