Madeira Beach occupies the northern end of the Gulf barrier island chain — a community of residential streets and waterways on the landward side, wide white sand beach on the Gulf side, and John's Pass Village at the southern tip where the working waterfront has evolved into the area's most distinctive commercial destination. Our St. Petersburg office is a 30-minute drive from Madeira Beach — east across the Welch Causeway or Tom Stuart Causeway, south on Gulf Boulevard, then east on 150th Avenue to the mainland grid and north to 1st Avenue N. The drive is longer than the beach neighborhoods closer to the city, and worth every minute. Private parking is waiting at 2552 1st Ave N. Griffin members from the barrier islands tell us the drive is one of the better investments they make in a month.
Barrier island residents have a specific relationship to the mainland — they cross the bridge when something matters enough to make the trip. Griffin concierge medicine is worth the bridge. Our physicians hold active admitting privileges at Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital, St. Anthony's Hospital, and Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater. Morton Plant is closest to the Madeira Beach corridor via the Clearwater bridges.
